Ryan Thousand - Founder and CEO
Ryan's story is a blend of early ingenuity and a lifelong dedication to healthcare IT. Raised by a dentist, he pioneered one of the first electronic dental offices at just 13, utilizing infrared wireless networks and fax machines for electronic billing—ahead of its time. His passion for patient care led him to dental school, where he was instrumental in creating a paperless dental school and one of the first academic EDRs. Falling in love with this work, three years into his doctoral program, Ryan chose to pivot, leaving to fully immerse himself in healthcare IT.
Over the next two decades, Ryan's career trajectory took him from an entry-level position to the role of Chief Innovation Officer. His comprehensive experience encompasses both provider and payor realms, with successes from integration of 25+million member lives to overhaul/implementation of enterprise clinical and business systems for large IDNs and regional organizations. Ryan's blend of knowledge and zeal positions him at the forefront of shaping the future of healthcare.
